Jim was great at helping me go through my current coverage and deciphering where it was lacking and where I could save some money. He was very friendly and personable and I highly recommend Jim Ruiz and Miller Insurance for auto, home, boat and umbrella insurance coverage.
Despite myself & my truck getting older, my premiums have continued to increase over the last several years. Unfortunately, I made the horrible mistake of "shopping" my business on-line several months ago without speaking to Ryan first. The deluge of vultures descended upon me like a carcass in the desert. I blew them and my quest off. Then, last week I received my renewal notice and yes, another increase! This time I decided to simply call Ryan. We spoke for a bit and he referenced some ideas he would look into with Amy. Amy called me back THE NEXT DAY to let me know that without one single change to my policy or reduction in coverage that my premium would be going DOWN by almost 20%, taking it back to where it was four years ago. Couldn't have been easier and all it took was that one call. Anyone who says sales today are more about price than relationships hasn't worked with Miller Insurance!!
After being involved in a car incident which was clearly not my fault, but told by the insurance company that they would not help me out, I reached out to Miller Insurance for advice. Because I was referred to them they spent time with me, even though I was not a client. Their advise was right on target and the insurance company changed their final decision to pay 100% of my repairs. Needless to say I was very happy with Miller Insurance and now I know why they have been around so long!
My family relocated to the Portland area from the Midwest last summer, and figuring out insurance was on the list of dreaded moving tasks. I also want to mention one of our vehicles was an older imported Nissan Skyline, something we had to jump through hoops of taking photos, inspections, AND paying for a year in advance in Michigan but this was no big deal for Miller Insurance and they saved our family hundreds of dollars insuring that vehicle alone! We have now been with the team at Miller Insurance (working mostly with Amy and Jim) for over 6 months and they are still amazing! They are always available, friendly, and take care of things quickly and professionally. Thank you Miller Insurance for the continued great service we have received=)
